Sajad Imani

Born in 1989, documentary filmmaker and editor Sajad Imani has a master’s degree in cinema studies and is a member of the Iranian Documentary Filmmakers Association. He has made seven documentaries both feature-lengths and short, got accepted to more than 30 national and international film festivals, and went on to win acclaimed awards and honors including Best Short Documentary and Audience Award at Tehran International Short Film Festival, in addition to his nomination for Best Director at Iran International Documentary Film Festival (Cinema Vérité). Sajad also edited the documentary short The Snow Calls directed by Marjan Khosravi.
