Aleksandr Barkovski

Born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Aleksandr Barkovski graduated from the art school after P.P. Benkov at the department of Book Graphics. Until 2005, he was engaged exclusively in painting, after which he took on professional photography and video art. His artworks and films have been featured in art exhibitions and won different awards. His work from the series “Gypsy Madonnas” was exhibited at the auction of Sotheby’s (London)
