The 8th Apricot Tree Ujan International Documentary Film Festival will take place on August 21-28, 2022.
As usual, all participants and jury members will live in the houses of the cordial villagers of Ujan, sharing bread with them and watching movies together every day in Ujan’s park – under the open sky. Participants will also be invited to multiple excursions to historic landmarks, wineries, museums, and other no less interesting places!
Parallel to the festival, the teenage students of the Ujan Film School will be running around all over the village, making their short films, which will be screened at the closing ceremony for all to see!
The festival will have around 30-35 films in total, 10-12 of which will be in the Feature-Length Competition, another 10-12 in the Short Film Competition, and the rest in our Special Screenings section. The latter will include a curated program, dedicated to Serbian documentary cinema, prepared and presented in cooperation with our colleagues from the Belgrade International Festival of Ethnological Film!
So if you’re a filmmaker and all this sounds good, don’t hesitate a second more and apply here.
And if you’re a spectator, save the dates and be sure to visit us in Ujan on August 21-28, 2022
