Bahram Azimpour

Bahram Azimpour (born 1959) is an Iranian film, theater and TV director and screenwriter. He is a graduate of Tehran University’s Fine Arts Faculty and has a B.F.A. in Performing Literature and an M.F.A. in Directing Performing Arts. He began his theatrical career in 1988 and his film career in 1989. He has been making documentaries from 1994 and until has directed more than 10 films. He has also been a script consultant on many productions. Azimpour was the Chairman of the Iranian Documentary Filmmakers Association from 2014 to 2015, after serving as Vice Chairman in 2008-2010 and 2013-2014.
