Is the history of Russia but not a dream? Does it have any connection whatsoever to the lives of the inhabitants of the Novikovo village? This is where the ancestral tomb of the once renowned aristocratic family of Novikovs-Kireevs is located. Upon closer inspection, one can suddenly find that the life purpose of Novikovs-Kireevs is topical to this day. Not only for the village but for the whole of Russia.

PAVEL FATTAKHUTDINOV

Born in 1952 in Sverdlovsk (modern-day Yekaterinburg), Pavel Fattakhutdinov is a prolific Russian filmmaker, who graduated from the Ural State University Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics in 1974. Later on, he attended the Directing Courses of distinguished Russian filmmaker Gleb Panfilov in 1980. In 2018 his film Great Siberian Rivers. Biryusa was awarded the Ujan Community Council Prize within the frames of the IV Apricot Tree Ujan International Documentary Film Festival.
