Bonfires and Stars

The film tells the story of a Moscow-based electronic musician Moa Pillar travelling to the Caucasus in the South of Russia in order to find a way to collaborate with local traditional musicians that represent a tradition that is deeply rooted in the history of the country and its inner struggles. The possibility of a dialogue between century-old traditions and modern millennial culture is questioned throughout the film.
