Fabiano is haunted by his guilt feelings about the death of an illegal Macedonian worker that used to help him in his cottage making Alp cheese. His hippie parents were also cheese producers, but times have changed and everything seems to get tougher. Soon, he will become a father too. Aldo Gugolz directs a sensitive and finetuned film that deals with complex issues in an extremely engaging fashion.

Aldo Gugolz

Born in 1963 in Lucern, Switzerland, Aldo Gugolz was a journalist and photographer for Swiss dailies in 1980-84. He studied Political Sciences and Communication Studies in Zurich. In 1986-92, he attended the HFF (Hochschule für Fernsehen und Film) Munich. Currently, he works as an independent filmmaker and cameraman. His films portray people with a fine sense of humor.
