This documentary short chronicles four days from the campaign of two candidates, seeking to get elected to the Armenian Parliament in December of 2018. The characters in the film are ordinary people, villagers of Armenia’s Armavir region, that the candidates meet along their campaign. The film is a depiction of their speech, their behaviors, their way of life and their mentality.

Arman Harutyunyan

The short film December is Arman Harutyunyan’s first effort in filmmaking. Before that he wrote film reviews for the online film magazine Kinoversus. Arman is also the co-founder of CineBox, a club for cinephiles.
