A young man, copped up in a room, somewhere in England, observes the outside world on the internet, free to move across borders. Chats, texts, phone conversations with his mother, as well as his answers to the immigration office’s questionnaire, piece together his story: a journey from Iran to Turkey, then to Greece, eventually to the UK where he is applying for asylum.
