Hranush Kharatyan
Born in 1952, Hranush Kharatyan is a historian-anthropologist, who works at the Republic of Armenia National Academy of Sciences Institute of Archeology and Ethnography. Her field of research is the cultures of the Caucasian region, the peoples of Turkey and ethnic minorities, the social-cultural transformations of the post-Soviet period. She has authored more than 10 books, 90 academic and hundreds of publicist articles. She has hosted two programs on Armenian Public Television about the cultures of the peoples around the world.
