Message from RA Minister of Culture 2017

I cordially salute the participants and guests of the Apricot Tree Third International Documentary Film Festival.

This festival has true potential to assume a significant role in the development, preservation and dissemination of film culture. It is also an important cooperation platform for filmmakers from various countries.

The fact that an international film festival will be taking place in an Armenian village, Ujan, is especially pleasant. This is perhaps the first such attempt in Armenia. I hope that this will become an exemplary precedent in making the countryside a more active member of the country’s cultural life.

I wish the festival a good run and fruitful work.
