MONIKA PAWLUCZUK
Monika Pawluczuk is a Polish documentary filmmaker. She is a cultural study graduate at the American Studies Centre at Warsaw University, a journalism department graduate at the Journalism Centre in Warsaw, and a DOC PRO Documentary Programme graduate at the Wajda School. Her films have been screened and awarded at several international film festivals. Her 2013 documentary When I am a Bird won the Short Film Competition Grand Prix at the 1st Apricot Tree Film Festival in 2015, while The End of the World was awarded the Special Jury Prize at the 2nd Apricot Tree Film Festival in 2016. She is the co-author (with Katarzyna Miller) of a book, translated into several languages, titled Being A Woman and Not Going Crazy.
