Tchindas

In the Atlantic Ocean, a tiny island works together to make something beautiful out of nothing: a Carnival. The days before the Carnival are hectic. The locals reuse everything they can to spice up the event. And although many problems arise, especially due to a lack of money, imagination does its job. Tchinda Andrade and her friends Elvis Tolentino and Edinha Pitanga are the soul of this Carnival. They will all guide the audience throughout this fascinating trip to an unknown side of Africa when Cape Verde becomes a “Little Brazil”, as the countries most acclaimed singer, Cesária Évora, defined in one of her most famous “mornas”.
