Synopsys

…when the only son, with an ease and relief, chops his parents and packs them into trash bags, when a woman who has been beaten numerous times massacres her husband while asleep… The protagonists are convicts who committed crimes after years of psychological and (or) physical violence. Film seeks answers to these questions: Is it possible to resolve family conflicts in a more peaceful way? Where does the deep and uncontrolled evil towards the loved ones come from?

Želimir Gvardiol

Born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia in 1957.  Želimir Gvardiol is an independent filmmaker, researcher and freelancer. He graduated film & TV direction from the Academy of Performing Arts – Film&TV School (FAMU) in Prague. Gvardiol’s investigative documentaries focus on human rights, freedom of expression, social justice, civil liberties and minorities. His films have participated many film festivals, including in Amsterdam, Berlin, Oberhausen, Krakցw, Leipzig etc.
